SSP Connect
What is SSP Connect?
This year marks the launch of the new SSP young alumni mentorship program, SSP Connect, a one-on-one mentorship initiative pairing young alumni with our most recent SSP participants.
What do mentors do?
- Complete the sign-up form and be matched with a SSP ‘20 mentee who has just finished their SSP summer.
- Receive guidance and training on how to be a mentor from fellow young alumni and SSP representatives.
- Meet and get to know your mentee online via video chat, provide support, answer their questions and help them navigate through the many upcoming challenges, opportunities, and transitions after SSP!
- Have conversations on topics like:
- What is the college application process like?
- How do I pick a major?
- What are different career paths?
- Up to 1 hour/week typical meeting with your mentee
